Overview
Alyrt is a household maintenance tracker. We collect the minimum data needed to run the service: reminders, service history, and documents you choose to upload. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
What we collect
- Account information: your name and email address, provided when you sign in.
- Household data: household name, member list, and their roles.
- Alert data: alert names, categories, due dates, recurrence settings, and notes you create.
- Service log entries: service dates, amounts, provider names, and notes you log.
- Uploaded documents: PDF, JPG, and PNG files you attach to service log entries (bills, warranty cards, service reports).
- Notification preferences: your email and push notification settings.
- Push subscription tokens: browser-generated tokens used to send push notifications to your device.
How we use your data
- To send you email and push reminders before alerts are due.
- To share alerts and service history with other members of your household.
- To store and display your uploaded documents so you can retrieve them later.
- To allow household members to log and view service events.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL database and file storage), hosted in cloud infrastructure. Application infrastructure runs on Vercel. Email notifications are sent via Resend.
Uploaded documents are stored in Supabase Storage. Access to your household's data is restricted to members of your household. We use row-level security and application-layer checks to enforce this isolation.
Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- With members of your household, as the core function of the service.
- With infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel, Resend) solely to operate the service.
- When required by law.
Data retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your alerts, service log entries, and documents at any time from within the app. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@alyrt.in.
Cookies
Alyrt uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
